NOW Foods Vitamin E-400 with Mixed Tocopherols and Selenium is a high-potency antioxidant supplement providing natural vitamin E together with complementary tocopherols and selenium.

Vitamin E is a major fat-soluble antioxidant that plays an important role in maintaining normal cellular health. It helps protect cells against free radicals produced through normal metabolic processes and environmental exposure.

Each softgel provides 268mg of vitamin E, equivalent to 400 IU, as natural d-alpha tocopherol. The formula also contains 48mg of mixed tocopherols, including d-beta, d-gamma and d-delta tocopherols.

Each serving additionally provides 100mcg of selenium from selenium yeast. Selenium is an essential trace mineral included to complement the antioxidant activity of vitamin E.

The vitamin E is plant derived, but the complete product is not vegetarian or vegan because its softgel capsule contains bovine gelatin and the formula also contains beeswax.
