NOW Foods Extra Strength Glucosamine & Chondroitin combines two widely used joint-support ingredients in their sulfate forms. The formula is designed to support normal cartilage structure, joint mobility and everyday joint comfort.
Glucosamine is an important building block used in the formation of glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans, which are major components of cartilage tissue. Chondroitin sulfate is also a glycosaminogly are major components of cartilage tissue. Chondroitcan and complements glucosamine in this joint-health formula.
Each tablet provides 750mg of glucosamine sulfate and 600mg of chondroitin sodium sulfate. The recommended daily serving of two tablets supplies 1,500mg of glucosamine sulfate and 1,200mg of chondroitin sodium sulfate.
This Extra Strength product provides twice the glucosamine and chondroitin per tablet compared with NOW Foods’ regular-strength capsule formula.
The chondroitin in this supplement is obtained from bovine cartilage, while the glucosamine is shellfish-derived. The product contains crab, shrimp, lobster and crayfish and must not be used by people with a known shellfish allergy.
Each bottle contains 60 tablets, providing 30 daily servings when used according to the manufacturer’s suggested dosage.

Suggested use
Take 2 tablets daily.
Due to the large size of the tablets, take them with 8 ounces, approximately 240ml, of water or another beverage.
