NOW Foods Thyroid Energy is a comprehensive nutritional formula designed to support normal thyroid function and healthy metabolism. It combines iodine and L-tyrosine, two nutrients involved in the normal synthesis of thyroid secretions, with supporting vitamins, minerals and standardized ashwagandha extract.

Each two-capsule serving provides 1,000mg of free-form L-tyrosine and 225mcg of iodine from potassium iodide. The formula also contains zinc, selenium and copper, which function as nutritional cofactors involved in normal thyroid and metabolic processes.

Vitamin B6, folate and methylcobalamin vitamin B12 are included to support normal nutrient metabolism and general wellness. Each serving provides 2mg of vitamin B6, 680mcg DFE of folate and 60mcg of vitamin B12.

The formula also supplies 125mg of standardized ashwagandha root and leaf extract, providing a minimum of 2.5% withanolides. Ashwagandha complements the vitamin, mineral and amino-acid components of this thyroid-support formula.

Suggested use

Take 2 capsules daily, preferably in divided doses with food.
