NOW Foods Neptune Krill Oil 500mg is an omega-3 supplement made with NKO® krill oil. It naturally provides EPA, DHA, phospholipids and astaxanthin in a convenient softgel format.

Each softgel contains 500mg of krill oil. A complete serving of two softgels provides 1,000mg of Neptune Krill Oil, including 250mg of total omega-3 fatty acids.

Each serving supplies 135mg of EPA and 60mg of DHA. These essential omega-3 fatty acids provide nutritional support for normal cardiovascular health and general wellness.

Unlike conventional fish oils, much of the omega-3 content in krill oil is naturally associated with phospholipids. Each serving provides 450mg of phospholipids.

The formula also contains 360mcg of esterified astaxanthin. Astaxanthin is a naturally occurring carotenoid that provides antioxidant and free-radical scavenging support.

NOW Foods states that NKO krill oil may support normal joint comfort and help maintain blood-lipid levels already within a healthy range. It may also provide nutritional support for normal feminine wellness.

The krill oil is produced under strict quality-control standards and tested for potentially harmful levels of mercury, PCBs, dioxins and other heavy metals.

The manufacturer recommends taking two softgels one to three times daily with food. The 60-softgel bottle provides approximately 10 to 30 days of use, depending on the selected daily dosage.

This product contains shellfish and bovine gelatin. It is not suitable for vegetarian or vegan users and must not be used by anyone with a shellfish or seafood allergy.

Suggested use
