NOW Foods Prostate Support is a comprehensive men's wellness formula combining standardized botanical extracts, nutritional oils, vitamins, minerals and antioxidant nutrients.
The formula features Saw Palmetto Berry Extract, standardized to contain a minimum of 85% naturally occurring fatty acids. Saw palmetto is a widely used botanical ingredient in supplements formulated to support normal prostate function.
Each two-softgel serving also provides 300mg of Stinging Nettle Root Extract. Stinging nettle root is traditionally included in men's herbal formulas and complements the standardized saw palmetto extract.
Pumpkin Seed Oil supplies naturally occurring fatty acids and phytosterols important to men's nutritional wellness. Each serving provides 1,000mg of pumpkin seed oil.
The formula is completed with 15mg of zinc, 10mg of vitamin B6 and 3mg of lycopene from Lycomato tomato extract. Zinc is an essential mineral involved in normal cellular and reproductive functions, while lycopene provides carotenoid antioxidant support.
The manufacturer recommends taking two softgels one to two times daily with food. The 90-softgel bottle contains 45 complete servings and provides approximately 22 to 45 days of use, depending on the daily dosage.
The softgel capsule contains BSE-free bovine gelatin and beeswax. This product is therefore not suitable for vegetarian or vegan users.
