NOW Foods Milk Thistle Extract 150mg with Turmeric is a standardized botanical formula created to support normal liver function and the body’s natural antioxidant defenses.
Milk thistle, scientifically known as Silybum marianum, has a long history of traditional herbal use. Its best-known naturally occurring compounds are a group of flavonoids collectively called silymarin.
Each vegetarian capsule provides 150mg of standardized Milk Thistle Extract, supplying 120mg of silymarin flavonoids. A complete two-capsule serving provides 300mg of Milk Thistle Extract and 240mg of silymarin.
The extract is standardized to approximately 80% silymarin, helping deliver a consistent amount of its characteristic botanical compounds in every serving.
The formula also supplies 700mg of turmeric root per two-capsule serving, equivalent to 350mg per capsule. Turmeric provides additional naturally occurring botanical compounds and complementary antioxidant support.
